“Diecast” and “resin” describe different model construction approaches, but neither automatically tells you the quality of a specific release.

Diecast models

Diecast models use cast metal components, commonly zinc alloy, and may also include plastic, rubber and other materials. Moving features depend on the model.

Resin models

Resin construction can support detailed shapes and low-volume subjects, and many resin display models are sealed rather than designed around opening parts.

Buy the model that best represents the subject you want at the scale and finish you prefer. Check the exact product description instead of assuming construction dictates features.
